San Diego Opossum Removal Control

About Opossums: Opossums are one of the more common nuisance wildlife animals that we deal with in San Diego. Most of the possums in San Diego become a problem when they choose to live inside a home or building. Opossums often live under decks or sheds, and they also commonly steal pet food. Opossums are marsupials, and the mother carries her babies around in a pouch, then on her back. Sometimes a female opossum with young will climb into and attic and live there. For professional San Diego possum removal, give us a call at 619-313-4122. We will discuss your possum problem, and set an appointment, usually same-day or next day.

We operate a professional opossum removal company operating in the San Diego CA area, including the towns of Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad, Escondido, San Marcos, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Ramona, Poway, Santee, Lakeside, El Cajon, Spring Valley, Lemon Grove, and all of San Diego County.  We do NOT service areas south of San Diego including National City, Chula Vista, or Imperial Beach. San Diego Opossum Emails:

We are looking at a house which appears to have had an animal (possum, we believe) under it at one time. He said there were old dropping and that someone probably left the access door open at one time. The house was built in 2001 and is pretty clean. Some insulation has been pulled down and there are some dropping. Is there a way to get an estimate on what it would take to access the problem (see if there still is an animal, what (if any damage) was done, etc)? Also if there is an animal, how much does it cost to leave some traps, etc? Let me know if you need/want any more details. Thanks, Brian

David, We live in the downtown San Diego area, and quite sure we have opossums living in our backyard under the shed. We have three dogs who use the back yard often and they are always sniffing around the shed and we saw a few walking along the top of the fence the other day. And tonight we saw an opossum close up at our front door. How much do you charge to come out and determine if there are opossums living in our backyard, and how much to remove them? Thanks, Mike

Hi, Thanks for having such a great website to visit! My daughter came across it doing research for a report on "Opossums". She's in 4th Grade, her name's La Chaix "Luh-Shay"-she initially had picked a "Zorse" to do her project on, but changed her mind when she saw a puppet possum at the toy store. She now thinks they're "cute". *smile*. Anyhow, she and I would like to know if it would be "OK" for her to use "save image as" some jpegs from your site for her report. She was a little grossed out about the "non-living" possums, so ultimately if you say it's ok, she'll save/add to her report the cuter more "alive" ones. Her teacher has been educating them on Plagiarism/Copyright laws, etc. So I figured this would be a PERFECT way for her and her class to better understand that. She'll include you/your company in her References and Bibliography. Please let us know at your earliest convenience, what your thoughts are and if this idea is acceptable to you. Her report isn't due until 12FEB2010, but the sooner we know if it's ok or not, the better. Again, thanks for keeping such a great site. If we lived in Florida(we're in San Diego, CA) and had critter problems, you'd be the guy we'd call! Good luck with your business! P.S. My daughter and I used to watch the Croc Huntah and were devasted when he died...until Bear Grylls came along. She LOVES him, and said YOU "remind" her of him. FYI. SUPER huge compliment. From a 9 yr. old, but still huge nonetheless! Just thought I'd share. More FYI- The attachment is a picture of her, along with her brother on Halloween 2009-my favorite critters.. I couldn't find any others-new PC. Thank you, Gina
